Michael Wu currently serves as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment, and Energy. In this role, he is helping lead the Air Force's energy assurance and renewable energy efforts. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Energy Program Director at the Truman National Security Project, founding the Truman Project’s Defense Energy Program and helping lead the advocacy campaign, Operation Free. Previously, he served in the Office of the General Counsel, U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Education, and in several congressional offices. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and St. John's College, and is a reserve officer in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps.
