Scott M. Lewit is the President of Structural Composites, Inc. and COMPSYS, Inc., and a founding partner with the firms. Mr. Lewit earned his Master of Science degree in oceanengineering in 1985 from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Lewit is a co-inventor of the resin recirculation molding process, the patented PRISMA preform technology and the CoCure Strain Tunable Resin and Coating technology. In 2016, Mr. Lewit was award the SME’s Judd Hall Lifetime Achievement award. In 2015, Mr. Lewit was inducted into the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) hall of Fame. In 2014 Mr. Lewit was awarded the NMMA’s Freeman Lifetime Achievement Award and the Technovation Lifetime Achievement award for Technology. Mr Lewit serves on several boards including nonprofits such as Energy Florida and The TCC Executive Steering Committee for the Navy Center for Composites.
