Tech Brief: A Magnetic Flux Channel (MFC)antenna can be embedded with conducting platform surface components yielding efficient in-situ reception and transmission of electromagnetic signals. MFC antennas have 10X the gain-bandwidth and require 1/10th the volume for cavity + feed within the platform OML.
Value Proposition: When an MFC is conformal to a platform OML surface (including radome), it will provide 10X the gain-bandwidth performance of conventional conformal radiators. Furthermore, the amount of volume required behind the OML is 1/10th of that required by conventional conformal radiators.
