Tech Brief: AquaSentinel monitors water utilizing green algae. Connected 24/7 to network operations center, autonomously gathers samples of raw water, analyzes the physiological processes, and matches the graphs against database of healthy algae and those affected by toxins. Data alerts report to network and sample is collected for further analysis.

Value Proposition: Our water toxicity monitor provides autonomous, real-time monitoring of surface waters enabling intelligent response to critical situations which results in time, money, and ultimately lives saved. The value proposition is continuous monitoring of critical waters. Water utilities use it to protect hundreds of thousands of homes from potential bio-terrorism, and water quality issues stemming from high algae concentrations. It can also be used to monitor effluent limits i.e. coal plants and industrial chemical production. Another potential use is testing waters surrounding mining operations and hydraulic fracturing sites. Detecting toxins in agricultural runoff. Environmental organizations are also interested in the algal concentration levels for harmful algal blooms that affect coral reefs and marine life. Real time oil spill data can be captured wherever an AquaSentinel is installed. The autonomous system operates continuously, and is connected to the internet; therefore pollution and algal bloom information can be displayed on a map with immediate alerts. "Voice of Water” focus where the target audience is the concerned public or environmental organizations (private or public) and the target market is at the organization or PROsumer level with a heavy component of public relations advertising.
