Tech Brief: A novel system is introduced to significantly reduce energy and fuel consumption in different DoD applications. The system utilizes waste energy from different sources including diesel engine exhaust and delivers a COP of 1.5.
Value Proposition: The proposed technology significantly reduces the energy consumption associated with cooling in military installations. The level of saving depends on the application. When operated by a diesel waste heat, it reduces the electrical energy consumption by approximately 90%. More importantly, it reduces the risks associated with US military fuel transportation in conflict zones.
