Tech Brief: It is a silicon-chip based optical technology. It provides unprecedented sensing capability without compromising the specificity. Slow light propagation provides stronger interaction with analytes and therefore generate a highly sensitive platform with system miniaturization. It can be connected with IPhone using Bluetooth while the system is portable.


Value Proposition: The proposed and developed works have been sponsored by AFRL, MDA, ONR and Army. It provides a platform that can be implemented for air-borne space-borne, sea-based and ground-based systems for various sensing functions with high sensitivity without compromising the specificity. Furthermore, the devices can be confirmable and also portable. They can be easily integrated into various application scenarios.
